At Goshen, Rooted to Rise equips pre-teens, teens, parents, and adults to spot what isn’t working, understand why, and take real action — so you walk away knowing you can make a positive difference wherever you go.
Most people can feel when something in their school, workplace, or neighborhood isn’t right. Fewer have been shown what to do next. Rooted to Rise closes that gap — teaching people to name the problem clearly, understand the system behind it, and work the right way to actually move it.

What You’ll Learn
From seeing a problem to solving it
Not a class you finish. A journey you climb. Participants enter wherever they are and move at their own pace. Each stage is earned through accomplishment steps — real, pointable wins, not attendance.
Stage One · Identity
See It
“I see who I am, I see who is around me, and I can see what needs to change.”
It starts with seeing yourself — who you are, what you carry, and what you were made for. Then the people around you and the weight they add or lift. Only then the problem itself, named honestly instead of by its symptom. Find proof that change is possible, and make one small change now.

Stage Two · Purpose
Plan It
“I know what I’m here for — and I know what I’m going to do about it.”
Name what you’re here for. Learn how the problem got this way — every problem has a history. Learn what you should be able to expect at school, in care, where you live. Then how to ask well, keep a record, and keep going when the first answer is no. Practiced through real-life role-play.

Grow It
“I can build stability — and reach for my dream.”
Name the dream out loud. Job readiness and the practical mechanics. Start doing what you love now, and build the record that proves it. Turning your talents into stability — and knowing what that’s worth.

Lead It
“I lead change, and I lift others as I climb.”
Own your story and say it out loud. Everyday leadership in the roles you already hold. Mentor someone one stage behind you. Change the condition, not just your position within it — and start something that outlives you.
